BiblioCraft Source Code Released!

Greetings! Long time no post. I’ve officially released the source code for BiblioCraft v1.12.x and newer. Unfortunately this last year, I just haven’t had the time to try to update BiblioCraft, despite wanting to. So I decided I need to free BiblioCraft out into the world. With that, I still would like to eventually get around to working on it, but now anyone who is keen enough is welcome to come help update it. If anyone submits a pull request on GitHub, I’ll look it over, test it, and push it. Or if anyone is just curious about how I did some of the things I did, it is all out there in the open now.

I have also put up a BandCamp page so I have a place to share all my music. I personally like Bandcamp better than SoundCloud, so all my future music will go there. So far, there is just a previous song I released and a short soundtrack for a game I made in college called “The Great Extraterrestrial Cook Off”.

Speaking of “The Great Extraterrestrial Cook Off”. I decided to release this game for free. Its a top down, 2D cooking game about someone who gets abducted by aliens and must feed them before they eat the player.

So what’s next?  First I plan to build a portfolio website to help show all the different projects I’ve worked on. Then I think the next step in my career is going to be to find a proper job in the games industry. With my free time after that I would like to try to spend more time writing and recording music this next year and maybe start a new game project of my own. Somewhere in there between  all that and my other hobbies hopefully I can find a little time here and there to mess with BiblioCraft.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year Everyone!
