Created and meant to be used with the Fancy Workbench, a Recipe Book will remember a recipe and assist in showing the ingredients and the pattern. A few lines of text can also be entered in the left hand side of the Recipe Book to help convey extra information about the recipe.
The book can also be signed to lock editing and prevent the book from being overwritten. If a book is unsigned, the recipe can be overwritten and replaced on the Fancy Workbench.
Right click to open the Recipe book GUI. On the left hand side, click in the space and you can write some text about the recipe. Be sure to click the Save button to save what has been written. Hitting esc to close the GUI will not save what has been written. Click the Sign button to lock the book so the text can no longer be edited.
As of v1.11.0 you can use a recipe book to craft an item. When you open the recipe book, there is not a “Craft” button which will craft the item in the book if you have the materials in your inventory.
The Recipe book is meant to be used on the Fancy Workbench. The Recipe book is meant to be placed in the top left slot in the Fancy Workbench GUI to use. See the Fancy Workbench for more details.
