Does that mean that this will work for just 1.8 as well? Or does it have to be 1.8.X? Because I REALLY want to be able to use the printing press in my game…

I am open to releasing a version for 1.8, but it all depends on how much changed from 1.8 to 1.8.9 and if the same things that I need exist in both versions. So I can’t really say for sure yet if there will be a 1.8 version other than 1.8.9. If it is easy enough, I will release a 1.8 version.

I created an account so I could reply as well, this mod is one of my favorites and I just have to tell you I’m so glad you’ve made it.

I have thaumcraft 5 and antique atlas mod for 1.8.9 minecraft, and as much fun as they are I’ve missed your mod,Bookshelves are perfect for the medievil magic feel thaumcraft offers and antique atlas give it the same “old time” feel. But your mod steps it up and makes it better, whether you want “modern day” or “long ago” your mod is perfect.

I personally think that books, and bookshelves are an ingenious idea in minecraft,I can imagine the perfect game experience being a permanent world with self wrote books lining the shelves of myself and other players in the ultimate multiplayer game.If you were selling this mod I would buy it,I love it so much.

Basically,(praising aside) I would just like to say I appreciate your hardwork in making this work for 1.8.9 and 1.9 minecraft. If you need any kind of help I’d be willing to help.Even if it’s just brainstorming ideas or participating in a poll/servey.

I’d like to follow up with how the heck did this website get a picture from my computer? Further more, a picture I never used for profiles on anything. It took a random photo from my libraries and just slapped it on.
Dude that is right nex- Do you have any idea that if this was a “Random grab” then that means the chances of a pony porn picture was at least 60% possible?
You wanna see that?
No. Fix that.

first of all thank you for a great mod and thank you for working on updating it.

i know what force of will is required to learn another rendering system after learning the pre 1.8 one, even if you know that things have gone for the better, so thank you for it. a small hint, please skip 1.8 and its basic json format and go for the improved json format. much easier for you, and with all these game versions out there, modders should help some game version to die off (starting with 1.8.0 and 1.9.0) by not supporting them.

take your time and please don’t lose nerves because some guys will post “hurry up” at you.

personally, i’d prefer if you put out lite edition for 1.9.4 and 1.10.2.
i’m sure i’m not the only one who wants bookshelves and item shelves and would only disable the <del>nonse…</del> more imaginative stuff you added later.
